Fitted with one-piece hydraulic unit with built-in safety overload protection.

Weight-for-weight, this strap is three to five times stronger than chain and has the advantage that overload can be detected early by the fraying of the strap. Manufactured from 100% high strength polyester with reinforced lifting eyes. Colour-coded according to European standards for identifying capacity. Safe working load ratings quoted are for a load between the loop eyes (U configuration) and a load at one end (straight configuration). Texspan round slings are manufactured from 100% polyester. The sling is made up with a seamless outer polyester cover and a core produced from a continuous hank of high-tenacity polyester. They are softer than duplex slings and kinder to delicate surfaces. BS EN1492: 2000 compliant. NB Length quoted are for the effective working length, which is half the circumference of the sling .
