MaxTex is a high denier synthetic fabric that offers a good balance of protection and ergonomics. This jacket comes with a fixed mesh liner and a removable quilted full thermal liner which is easily taken out or put in the jacket depending on what weather you find yourself in. This jacket is held together using polyester core spun thread.The Ava jacket comes with 2 outer pockets to keep your main belongings on you at all times. The 2 intake vents which match up perfectly with the 1 exhaust vent help to keep the rider cool in the warmer conditions by creating airflow all through the jacket. This jacket has waist adjusters to make sure that the wearer is getting the most comfort out on their jacket.The Ava jacket is CE rated: AA which means the protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs). The shoulder and elbow armour is CE Level 1 which means the maximum transmitted force must be below 18 kN, and no single value shall exceed 24 kN. This jacket comes with a back protector pocket (protector not included).
