Grips
Grips
— grips are called that part of the handlebar, which is directly held by the cyclist. More precisely, these are the characteristic round handles along the edges; they are used in the handlebars of a traditional design (the road handlebar, in fact, is one continuous grip). The grips on most bikes are removable and can be replaced if desired. Also included in this category are locks for attaching grips to the handlebars. Such locks play the role of clamps that prevent slipping and rolling of the handles.
