The compact Dell Latitude 13 3340 laptop is positioned as a solution for studying and simple office tasks. The laptop is convenient to carry on an everyday basis due to its light weight of 1.25 kg.
The model belongs to the category of compact convertible laptops — the size of its IPS screen diagonally is 13.3 inches. The display resolution is standard (1920x1080 pixels), and the refresh rate is 60 Hz. The screen saved on color accuracy, as the panel covers only about 45% of the NTSC space. However, the display is touch-sensitive and opens 360°.
The laptop connects to the Internet using wireless Wi-Fi 6E. Priority to the best available connection is provided by the ExpressConnect proprietary technology. The model is equipped with two full-size USB ports, one USB type C with Alternate Mode support, HDMI version 1.4, an audio jack, and a Kensington lock. By the way, USB-C is used to charge the battery via the Power Delivery protocol. The laptop's keyboard received a white backlight.
The Dell Latitude 13 3340 is equipped with an energy-efficient platform powered by a 10-core Intel Core i5-1335U processor. The RAM here is non-expandable — 8 GB in volume. This is one of the "bottlenecks" in the laptop's characteristics. Among other equipment in the laptop, there is a fingerprint scanner and a webcam with a shutter. In the end, we have a mobile solution with a basic level of performance and a truly convenient touch screen.

HP's notebook represents the Envy x360 family, which combines convertible models in a stylish and practical design. It can be used as a large tablet — with a 14-inch touchscreen display and quality protective Gorilla Glass. The latter is designed to enhance the durability of the display, protecting it from scratches and damage. The laptop's body is mainly made of aluminum, which combines a pleasant appearance, low weight, and decent resistance to mechanical impacts.
The HP Envy x360 14-fa0000 [14-fa0004na] is built on an AMD platform, featuring a 6-core Ryzen 5 8640HS processor and an integrated Radeon 760M graphics adapter. It is complemented by 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB solid-state drive. This hardware provides high multitasking capability during everyday use, meaning good performance when running multiple applications simultaneously or working in different browser tabs. Plus, the model is suitable for casual (non-demanding) games and amateur content creation (without complex rendering and video editing projects).
An additional bonus is the 59 Wh battery, which will provide over 14 hours of autonomy. Moreover, the battery supports fast charging — up to 50% in half an hour.
The laptop can be recommended for frequent video conferences, as it has a 5 MP webcam with a shutter: it supports Quad HD resolution, which is 2560x1920 pixels. Other features include a face scanner, Wi-Fi 6E module (802.11ax), four USB ports with a bandwidth of 10 Gbps, including two Type C, an ergonomic keyboard with backlight and a Copilot key. The model also comes pre-installed with Win 11 Home OS.
The downside of the device is the quite unconvincing color coverage of the IPS screen (a 63% sRGB space coverage is declared). If this is not critical for you, then the HP Envy x360 14-fa0000 [14-fa0004na] (A2RZ8EA) is an interesting convertible with balanced hardware and good autonomy.
The Asus laptop made of matte plastic meets the military protection standard MIL-STD-810. This means an overall increase in mechanical strength, readiness to operate in low and high temperatures, and other not-so-favorable conditions. An additional factor of reliability for the model is the keyboard, which has not only backlighting but also water protection. Of course, spillage of drinks over it is still not advisable, but such an incident would not cause hardware problems.
The Asus Chromebook CB34 Flip CB3401FBA features the proprietary ErgoLift hinge, which allows the lid to be opened 360 degrees and transforms the device into a large tablet. There is a 14-inch touchscreen, plus a stylus is included in the package. It is convenient to make notes when working with texts, perform sketches, and so on with the stylus. The stylus has a special storage compartment in the body, where, among other things, automatic charging of the accessory takes place. It is claimed that to get 45 minutes of autonomy, it needs to be hidden inside for only 15 seconds.
The laptop is equipped with a rather powerful 10-core Intel Core i7 1255U processor and an integrated Iris Xe Graphics G7 96EUs adapter. Their potential is more than enough for successful operation with Chrome OS, including even cloud gaming. However, in general, this operating system is optimized for relatively simple office tasks, studying, browsing, and not for the most resource-intensive programs. Moreover, by modern standards, the RAM is rather limited here — 8 GB.
The laptop includes a 512 GB SSD, branded Harman Kardon acoustics, standard interfaces, including two 10Gbps USB-C ports. A battery with a capacity of 63 Wh provides good autonomy of about 10 hours. The IPS screen of the model supports a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels, with a picture characterized by moderate brightness (up to 300 nits) and quite weak color coverage (coverage of 45% NTSC).
The Asus Chromebook CB34 Flip CB3401FBA [CB3401FBA-LZ0101] is a noteworthy Intel and Chrome OS-based convertible laptop.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 G4 IML is a small aluminum laptop with a touchscreen that boasts excellent color rendering (over 100% sRGB) and TÜV Rheinland certification. Moreover, the display supports working with a stylus.
The touch IPS screen ensures convenience in working in photo and video processing applications, drawing programs, and 3D graphics creation. The model can be used both on a desk and "on the lap" — special hinges allow the display to open 360°. Its aspect ratio is 16:10, and the resolution corresponds to the Full HD+ format (1920x1200 pixels).
The laptop's performance is driven by a combination of a 12-core Intel Core i5 125U processor, which processes up to 14 data streams simultaneously, and 16 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. Additionally, an expansion slot for another stick of RAM is available for the user. There is also an M.2 port for another PCIe 4.0 4x 22x80 mm data drive. By default, the model is equipped with a 256 GB SSD.
The laptop is not afraid of spilled liquids on the keyboard, and the body of the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 G4 IML is certified for protection according to the American military standard MIL-STD-810H. The model's arsenal also includes an HD webcam with a shutter, Harman Kardon stereo speakers, a card reader, a fingerprint scanner, an autonomous 60 Wh battery with fast charging support through the USB type C port (from zero to 80% in 1 hour). In medium load mode, the laptop can operate without recharging for more than 11 hours.

The portable computer from Asus's Vivobook line is a convertible (hinges open 360 degrees) with a high level of durability. The body of the 14-inch model is made of aluminum, plus compliance with the MIL-STD-810 military standard is declared. This does not yet guarantee armor-piercing properties but means improved protection against impacts, drops, and other mechanical influences compared to analogs. Plus, the model withstands high and low temperatures well and is tested for operability in mountainous areas.
The Asus Vivobook 14 Flip TP3407SA, as a convertible, has a touchscreen, plus, as a bonus, it comes with a stylus. The 14-inch display is based on OLED matrix. It is notable for its excellent contrast, fast response time (only 0.2 ms), quality color reproduction, including impressive color coverage (100% DCI-P3 coverage). Also, the screen should not tire the eyes during long work sessions (TÜV Rheinland certification available) and can be quite bright when displaying HDR content (up to 500 nits).
The laptop operates on Win 11 Home (pre-installed), and its hardware includes an 8-core Intel Core Ultra 5 processor with an integrated Arc Graphics 130V adapter and 16 GB of DDR5 RAM. This configuration provides good performance in various scenarios (except for gaming and complex video editing). Additionally, users can expect enhanced speed in tasks with AI algorithms and excellent energy efficiency. Thanks to a 70 Wh battery, the model can operate without network power for up to 28 hours.
The equipment includes a 512 GB SSD, advanced data exchange interfaces, including a Wi-Fi 7 wireless module and one Thunderbolt v4 port (USB4 40 Gbps). It also has a face scanner, a webcam with a mechanical shutter, a keyboard with white backlight, and audio with Dolby Atmos support.
The Asus Vivobook 14 Flip TP3407SA [TP3407SA-QL011W] is a good convertible laptop with many strengths, including an OLED matrix, autonomy, and durability.
