The main advantage of the TP-LINK router is high performance. The model corresponds to the AX5400 class, which means a total bandwidth of up to 5400 Mbps, while at a frequency of 5 GHz you can achieve a data exchange rate of 4804 Mbps. Such indicators are enough even for streaming 8K video. And approaching the declared maximum will be made possible by a bandwidth of 160 MHz and 1024-QAM modulation.
By the way, the excellent performance of TP-LINK Archer AX72 Pro is also ready to be ensured with wired data transmission, as it is equipped with a 2.5 Gbps port.
The "range" of the model is supported by a set of 6 external antennas. In addition, there is a powerful 30 dBm transmitter inside, whose capabilities are enough for most multi-room apartments, small and medium-sized offices, etc. And in larger objects or for the most demanding tasks, you can deploy seamless Mesh networks based on the router.
For stable operation with a large number of devices simultaneously, MU-MIMO is supported, and the directed signal to specific clients will be ensured by the Beamforming function.
The router has a total of 5 LAN ports, including four gigabit connectors, as well as one USB - for connecting external storage devices. The model is easy to configure using the Tether app, supports notifications about new users being added, and has a built-in HomeShield protection system.
TP-LINK Archer AX72 Pro is a quality choice if you need really high data transfer speeds and a good range.

The dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router from MikroTik is notable for its extended operating temperature range: -40 °C ~ +70 °C. The model can be safely placed in unheated areas (garage, basement, attic, etc.), and with additional protection from water (placed under a canopy) - even outside, for example, in a yard area. For such scenarios, PoE technology is also supported, so with a single Ethernet cable, MikroTik hAP ax3 will receive both the internet signal and power. Moreover, the PoE function also works on the output, which will allow powering another low-power device, such as a surveillance camera, from the router.
The model's hardware includes a 4-core Qualcomm IPQ-6010 processor and 1 GB of RAM, providing good computing capabilities. For initial connection and setup, RouterOS is offered - a convenient "operating system" suitable for both beginners and demanding users setting complex firewall rules, using hardware encryption, etc.
Among the strong points of the router are the presence of 5 LAN ports, four of which are gigabit, and one is 2.5 Gbps. Next to it is a USB port: it allows connecting not only a flash drive but also an LTE modem.
A powerful transmitter (29 dBm) on board will ensure stable coverage even in multi-room apartments and allow you to do without signal boosters. Also, the case features a pair of external antennas at 5.5 dBi, which if necessary you can detach for replacement or convenient device storage.
The downside is the small (or rather basic) speed by Wi-Fi 6 standards in 5 GHz networks, which will not exceed 1200 Mbps. Otherwise, the MikroTik hAP ax3 is a worthy router, combining frost-resistant construction and long-range.

The compact (98x98x30 mm) router from the Ubiquiti brand is notable not only for the absence of external antennas. It supports various operating modes, from ordinary access point to the role of a gateway managing 4 other network devices, segmenting traffic and/or filtering content, domains, countries, etc.
Ubiquiti Unifi Express is also able to work in tandem with similar devices in Mesh mode to increase range. But even a single box will please with a good operating area up to 140 square meters (in open spaces), as it uses a powerful 25 dBm transmitter and internal antennas to enhance the signal (up to 5.2 dBi).
The model supports Wi-Fi 6 standard, providing air bandwidth up to 2400 Mbps in the 5 GHz frequency band and 574 Mbps in 2.4 GHz networks. Among other things, the extended 160 MHz bandwidth is responsible for increasing performance. Wired data transmission is carried out at a speed of up to 1 Gbps: there is one gigabit port each for LAN and WAN.
The router received a Bluetooth module, which can be used as a control interface, and also provides access to the internet for various smart sensors or other IoT devices. Additional features include an informative 0.96-inch display and a USB-C port. The screen shows in real-time the number of clients, incoming and outgoing speed, and the current interface is used for power, which, if necessary, allows connecting directly to a power bank.
Ubiquiti Unifi Express is an original networking device with various application scenarios.

The model from the Zyxel brand is an advanced class router, although within the proprietary Nebula line it is closer to entry-level, simplified solutions. It can be recommended for home use and/or small offices.
Zyxel Nebula USG LITE 60AX is made in a white case, and its concise design will easily blend into any interior as there are no external antennas. But good coverage range is not an obstacle, as a powerful 29 dBm transmitter is provided. Also supported are the Beamforming and MU-MIMO functions that enhance connection stability. Moreover, there are internal antennas that provide decent signal amplification (4.6 dBi).
The advantages of the router include a wide bandwidth of 160 MHz and a high speed of wireless data exchange. In 5 GHz networks, it can reach 4800 Mbps, and in 2.4 GHz - 1150 Mbps. Such indicators are generally sufficient even for demanding users - designers, video editors, e-sports enthusiasts. Performance is also ensured by the wire, as there are two 2.5 Gbps jacks - respectively WAN and LAN, as well as four gigabit ports for direct connection of TVs, PCs, NAS servers.
The router is equipped with a 4-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 512 MB of internal memory. This hardware is designed to increase overall performance, including speeding up configuration. Advanced protection against various cyber threats is also announced, including the detection of malware and ransomware. For initial connection and flexible management, the proprietary Nebula app is offered, where among other things you can monitor traffic and set various restrictions.
Zyxel Nebula USG LITE 60AX is a router with a large coverage area but a concise design. However, it is important to consider that high speeds and range result in a corresponding price tag.

The advanced level router from Asus is notable for its wide connectivity options. Firstly, it is compatible with both Ethernet (twisted pair) and optics (SFP+ standard). In each case, 10-gigabit connectors are provided for data input. Plus, the Asus RT-AX89X can distribute mobile internet, as it supports 3G and 4G (LTE) modems, having two USB ports for them.
It is worth noting separately the immediate 8 LAN ports with a throughput of 1 Gbit/s, which will allow you to connect a laptop, TV, network storage devices, or other devices directly or even hold a small cyber tournament at home with friends. In addition, the Link Aggregation function allows accelerating wired data transfer - due to connecting by two or even three cables to one PC (another client).
Externally, the router looks like a spider, as it is made in a round form factor and includes 8 external antennas. In addition, a powerful 30 dBm transmitter is used here, which expands the coverage area (the gain is reported to be 80% compared to standard solutions with a figure of around 20 dBm). The Beamforming function is also implemented to maintain a stable connection, providing a directed signal specifically to your devices. In multi-story houses or offices, the model can be integrated into a mesh system based on the proprietary AiMesh technology.
The router has been assigned AX6000 class, which means high data exchange speed "over the air", including up to 4804 Mbps in the 5 GHz range and 1148 Mbps in 2.4 GHz. This should be enough for 4K gaming, processing "heavy" videos stored in network storage, etc. In practice, performance depends on client devices and many other variables, but due to the 160 MHz bandwidth, the model will be closer to the theoretical maximum.
Note that gamers are offered traffic prioritization, plus there is a load balancing function and an advanced information security system AiProtection.
Asus RT-AX89X is quite expensive, but if you need high performance, range, and versatility (Ethernet, optics, mobile internet), then the router definitely deserves close attention.
