The Chinese brand Tenda has been producing network equipment for more than 10 years, but they entered the east european market only in 2015. Since then, they have earned a good reputation for reliable performance, ease of connection and low cost of their devices. Additional attention to the brand was attracted by the Nova series of routers, which at the time of its release were almost the only available option for creating a seamless mesh network, in which each router is an independent combat unit. For example, at the time of its release in the spring of 2019, a set of three Nova MW3 routers could be bought for over $100.

Most models of the Nova series are made in a similar style and are minimalistic plastic cubes with snow-white sides and various texture patterns on the front panel. Thanks to this design, it creates the impression of a strict and at the same time stylish device that will easily fit into the interior of the room. Another beauty is the ease of network setup. The user only needs to scan the QR code on the box, download the mobile application, fill it with network data and, in principle, it's ready. There is no need to configure each router individually, as new devices receive data from existing network members.

Given the specification of the Nova series, simplicity and reliability are a priority here, and not some additional features or an extended communication channel. Most devices from this line are classic dual-band routers with a pair of internal antennas, MU-MIMO support, and one or two LAN ports. The maximum bandwidth, usually, is standard for the Wi-Fi protocol of 5,867 Mbps.
