The tires are definitely suitable for calm rides, for those who are not in a hurry. It's better not to race with them. Paved roads, both dry and wet, are good, but mud is the main enemy for them. They make a little noise, but that's relative and bearable, and if you turn on music, you don't notice it at all. I've driven about 20,000 on them, and the wear is hardly noticeable.
