Model overview based on user reviews
The Continental Conti4X4WinterContact has received mixed reviews from users. While some appreciate its performance on wet asphalt and slush, noting that it handles well at high speeds with minimal noise, others criticize its performance on ice and packed snow. Concerns include poor road grip on icy surfaces, with one user describing a dangerous loss of control during extreme braking. Additionally, the tread is not particularly deep, and the sidewall is not aggressive, raising doubts about its capability in harsh winter conditions. Overall, it seems more suited for mild, low-snow European winters, but its high price and limited winter performance have left some users disappointed.

very, very poor road grip. In case of ice, neither ABS nor rolling stability helps... During extreme braking, it threw a 4x4 weighing three tons off the track at a speed of 80 km. I've never encountered such junk before, as this highly praised SuperConti.

normal model, nothing special

there are models with more balanced features and attractive prices. They can be recommended for use in the warm, low-snow conditions of European winters.
from the experience of one winter, I can say that it performs well on wet asphalt and slush. It's installed on Merc ML. I haven't had the chance to test it in deep snow yet. As a plus, at high speeds on asphalt, the car handles like it's on summer tires and doesn't make much noise.
initially not a deep tread and not an aggressive sidewall. suspicion that in harsh conditions, the passability will leave much to be desired. on packed ice, grip is "3"
