The premium summer tyre of the ContiPremiumContact line from the eminent tyre company Continental combines sporty handling and ride comfort. The sixth generation of the series has improved on almost all fronts, which raises the model to the rank of one of the most balanced top-level tyres.
Interesting drawing
The tyre stands out from its peers with an interesting tread pattern — its long shoulder blocks support each other for fast and stable cornering both on dry and wet roads. This part of the pattern is taken from the sports model Continental SportContact 6. The design of the "shoulders" is complemented by an asymmetric tread rib geometry with three deep longitudinal channels to drain water from the contact patch.
High scores
The tyre has received the highest A rating in the discipline of wet grip. Also, the tyre receives high scores for low rolling resistance and long mileage, the merit of which lies on the shoulders of an improved rubber compound. But in terms of noise, the Continental ContiPremiumContact 6 is slightly inferior to its “classmates”, as well as in terms of resistance to hydroplaning.
