And braking efficiency on winter road surfaces is enhanced by a special Liquid Layer Drainage technology, due to which a film of water forms under the tread, reducing the contact surface area between the tyre and the road. Even despite the lack of studs, the rubber shows an impressively short braking distance on ice.
