The Dyson vacuum cleaner belongs to the category of upright models with a portable unit. This means you can use it in two ways: in an assembled form with a long tube for traditional cleaning or detach the portable unit to turn it into a handheld vacuum for cleaning furniture and hard-to-reach places.
