Eleaf Electronics Co is a Chinese manufacturer of electronic cigarettes since 2011. The company's products are quite popular and designed to satisfy the tastes of a wide consumer. Eleaf iCare 2 Kit is the second, improved generation of kit for beginner vapers.

Compact design

The shape of a cigarette is a bit like a whistle. It is offered in 6 colours: grey, black, red, white, light green and gold. The compact dimensions of 31x13x86 mm allow you to comfortably hold the device in the palm of your hand. The case is made of matte plastic, pleasant to the touch. The rubberized inserts do a design strong and reliable.

Usage

In iCare2, they abandoned the puff sensor, which even worked from the wind, and used a button. Now, to turn on the device, you need to press the button 5 times within 2 seconds, and to take a puff, press and hold the button while you puff. By the way, if the duration of the puff is more than 15 seconds (what kind of lungs you need to have!), The overheating protection will work and the device will turn off. The button is located quite conveniently, it is easily pressed with the thumb.

The power of the device is only 15 watts, it generates a little steam compared to box mods, and its taste is much weaker, so it’s better to vape liquids more saturated with flavors with an equal ratio of propylene glycol and glycerin.

The capacity of the 2 mL tank with this power is enough for 200 – 250 puffs. In terms of cigarettes, this is about one and a half packs. The tank is made of transparent plastic, in the case under it there is a window for visual control of the liquid level. The mouthpiece is wide, comfortable, easy to remove and wash.

Service

Eleaf iCare2 Kit essentially consists of 2 parts: an atomizer — a tank with a mouthpiece and a vaporizer, and the main body, which houses a non-removable battery. The evaporator is not serviced, as it wears out, it should be replaced with a new one. A spare is included, so you won't have to buy for a long time. Based on 100 – 150 puffs per day, the replacement of the vaporizer should be carried out approximately once a month. The disadvantage of this process is the need to disassemble the tank, remove the bottom cover, the fasteners of which are plastic and unreliable.

Liquid is poured into the tank through two holes in the upper part, access to which opens after removing the mouthpiece. It is not necessary to remove the tank for refueling, but you can wash it if you need to.

The battery capacity of the 650 W mod is enough for an average of half a day of vaping. A 4-colour display will help you determine how much is left before complete discharge. Charging is done via a standard USB port.

Eleaf iCare 2 Kit pleases with almost everything: compactness, ease of maintenance, price. Not everyone will like the battery capacity, but given the size of the device and the ease of charging (power bank to help), this should not be considered a big inconvenience.
