Display
The weather station has a colour LCD display, which displays the indicators received by the external and internal sensors. These are the temperature and humidity inside and outside the house, as well as the wind speed. Moreover, the latter is shown not only in the form of a number, but also on a 12-point Beaufort scale, which resembles a speedometer in a car. The device remembers the history of measurements, and also registers the maximum and minimum values for the last 24 hours, 7 days, the last month or even a whole year. In the settings, you can specify the limits of the value: for example, if there is a storm outside, the device will beep. Also on the screen you can see the date, time, weather forecast for the next 12 hours in the form of symbols and the temperature on the street according to the sensations.
The display itself is convenient, the information on it is clearly visible, but there is too much of it: at first, the eyes run up from numerous numbers, so it will take time to get used to. There is a LED backlight for the screen with adjustable brightness, which can be turned off altogether, which is very convenient at night. You can also use the station as an alarm clock, which also periodically repeats the signal so that you do not oversleep. The button to turn it off is in a prominent place — right below the display. The device works both from the mains and from batteries.
External sensor
If there are no problems with the installation of the station itself, then you will have to work hard with the external sensor: since it measures the wind speed, it should be in an open area, away from walls, fences and other obstacles, on a hill. Fortunately, the signal transmission range is good — 91 metres. The device cannot be called compact, so the fasteners must be reliable so as not to be blown away by the wind. The sensor works without wires, from batteries, when the time comes to replace them, the indicator on the station display will notify.
