The TFA 351109 home weather station consists of two parts: a base unit with a display and a remote sensor with a built-in thermometer and hygrometer for measuring outdoor temperature and humidity readings.
Radio communication
Pairing between the two component parts of the device is carried out via a wireless radio channel with a communication radius of about 100 m(in the absence of serious interference on the route). In addition, the main unit can receive DCF-77 radio signals, based on which the weather station automatically corrects the current time value.
Intuitive Perception
Information on the high-contrast display of the base unit is displayed with a high degree of intuitiveness. So, the uppermost part of the screen serves to show the time and date, a picture of the visualization of the weather forecast for the next 12 hours (sunny, partly cloudy or the likelihood of precipitation) is drawn a little lower, followed by a narrow strip with the phases of the moon, and finally, the main readings are displayed from the bottom — the current temperature and humidity in the room and similar parameters for the street.
Accurate results
Both blocks of the device use 2 AAA batteries as batteries. A low battery level is signaled by a special indication on the screen. In the dark, you can not notice it, however, like the rest of the readings on the display due to the lack of backlight. This is the only disadvantage of the weather station, because otherwise it demonstrates accurate results both in relation to current temperature measurements and in relation to compiling a weather forecast based on determining changes in atmospheric pressure.
