Model overview based on user reviews
The TIGAR HP tyres offer a budget-friendly option with some notable strengths and weaknesses. They perform well in city conditions, providing good stability and control on asphalt, especially in warm weather. Users appreciate their durability, with minimal tread loss over a season, suggesting they could last up to four seasons. However, the sidewall is perceived as weak, causing the car to sway at higher speeds (above 110 km/h), making them less suitable for fast driving or racing. Additionally, some users report issues with noise, wear, and aquaplaning, particularly by the third season. Overall, while they are a decent choice for city driving at a low price, those seeking higher performance might consider spending a bit more for better quality tyres.
Pros

Cons

If not for a racing car, then quite a decent tyre for a small price

Who would not say. But not necessarily a cheap tyre is always a bad one. I made sure from personal experience, having bought a tigar and skated on it the entire season in 2019. She certainly has disadvantages, because miracles do not happen, but first I want to talk about the pros. The first is tyre stability. In the city, on asphalt, in any warm weather, I did not have a feeling of discomfort, it holds the road well, does not slip when cornering in the rain, slows down well, does not float when changing lanes abruptly, and so on. I liked that the tyre did not lose a lot of tread during the season, and based on the figure, I can conclude that, if desired, you can safely skate 4 seasons. Now for the cons. She has a certain penchant for finding a rut. and this is felt in the front lane, where trucks usually ride. It has a weak sidewall, because as soon as you leave the city, and start driving more than 110, - 120, 130 and above, the car starts to peck when braking, and how to move around on the waves. The shock absorbers are good and so are the springs. That is, for the city this is an excellent tyre for a penny, but it is not suitable for racing, for fast driving too. I download 2.5, but I can’t say that this is enough for rigidity. It’s just that now I’m going out of town for 110-120, no more. In general, I am satisfied.
Well established in the city. I like how it slows down, how it is controlled on asphalt. Probably good durability.
It seems to me that the sidewall is weak, because it sways a little at speed (more than 110 km / h).

I do not recommend it, if you have the funds, take something 500 UAH more expensive and of better quality.

Using 235/55/16. Noisy. After winter, I changed tires, and wow, I thought the windows weren't closed or the doors were open. Wear, by the 3rd season, there’s little left, 2mm to the indicator (I drive 10-12k per season). By the 3rd season - puddles are your enemy, drive through very slowly. The tread pattern width is like that of 205 or 195 width.
Only the price
Wear, noise, aquaplaning at height, sluggish.

The Serbian brand Tigar has long been working under the wing of the famous tyre company Michelin, whose specialists had a hand in developing a high-performance summer tyre from the High Performance series.

High driving performance

The model was "rolled out" on the roads in anticipation of the summer season of 2017. Like most colleagues in the workshop of summer “shoes” for cars, rubber has acquired a tread with an asymmetric treadmill structure. Due to this “drawing”, equally good driving qualities are achieved both when driving on a dry asphalt road and when riding in rainy weather.

Full responsiveness

Massive blocks of the outer part of the tread pattern with sharp gripping edges work with an eye on excellent handling when entering turns. The directional stability of the car at high speeds is facilitated by a trinity of wide stiffening ribs. All of them are separated from each other by deep circumferential channels through which water drainage is carried out. A developed drainage system negates the risk of experiencing the effect of hydroplaning on your own skin.

Winning Combination

The rubber mixture of the model is generously “seasoned” with silica. In fact, its increased content in the rubber compound improves wet grip and reduces rolling resistance. And this, in turn, is a direct way to improve the level of fuel efficiency of the tyre. The only drawback of TIGAR HP lies in the fact that the tyre "rustles" on the asphalt louder than many "classmates". However, the combination of excellent driving characteristics, long mileage and tidbit cost completely crosses out the aforementioned minus of the model.
