super! would not jinx i have had a 3 TB Transcend with a notepad for more than a year, it doesn’t make noise, it doesn’t heat up, there are no problems at all, I haven’t turned it off for the last six months, I constantly download something from torrents no use Transcend TS8TSJ35T3 month or more i recommend it should buy |
I recently bought this hard drive and I'm already pleasantly surprised by its performance. The specs and build quality are just awesome. It looks amazing. The writing speed and reading speed are top-notch. The housing is sturdy and well-protected against impacts. It takes up very little space, so you can easily carry it in your pocket without needing different bags and packages. I'm very happy with the product I purchased. Write speed and read speed. The disk returned from service yesterday. I sent it with a complaint about vibration and noticeable noise (it hisses as if the fan is spinning dry, and the vibration is slightly weaker than the vibration on a phone). The service center Transcend concluded that everything is within normal limits. I placed it on rubber pads, and now vibration through the table is barely audible, but the spindle rotation noise remains, quite loud. The temperature reaches 50 degrees after 5 minutes of use. I gave up on the so-called warranty and disassembled this wonder. Inside was an ordinary budget Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 3TB 7200rpm 64MB ST3000DM001 3.5 SATAIII, which actively makes noise and vibrates. My conclusion is not to deal with Transcend; they know how to make flash drives and memory cards, but not hard drives. The service is downright pathetic. My whole computer runs quieter than this disk. I think it won't last more than a month with active use. Good plastic body, fairly high speed. Very bright backup button. The unique USB cord, if it fails, I don’t even know where one can buy one. eSATA wouldn't hurt either. My copy has vibration, noise and overheating.
