We installed a model with a 50-liter capacity in a well shaft on our parents' homestead. It's quite heavy, not made from "tin can" material. We've been using it for about six months, and so far, no signs of corrosion have appeared, although it's installed on a rubber sheet, but it is very damp in the shaft.
