Production of affordable starter AKB Energia is set up at the facilities of Accum Group in Zaporizhzhia (Ukraine). The brand’s classic battery line covers a wide range of available capacities from 50 to 190 Ah. It is aimed at use on board 12-volt passenger cars with a moderate amount of electrical equipment. The batteries in the line are made using traditional lead-acid technology with minimal self-discharge and highly efficient delivery of cranking power regardless of ambient air temperature.
The AKB terminals are arranged in the standard way and have a standard tapered shape (Euro type). The positive terminal can be located on the right or left—its position depends on the chosen Energia Classic modification. The battery cases are made of high-strength, vibration-resistant plastic. Finally, thanks to modern plate manufacturing technology, the AKB series features enhanced resistance to corrosion.
