The deck is made of high quality polypropylene, so the Makita ELM3320 has a moderate weight (10.2 kg) and does not look particularly heavy compared to other lawn mowers in the same power class, but at the same time its body is strong and rigid. On the side surfaces of the housing there are limiters in the form of "combs" that direct the vegetation directly under the rotating knife.
