Spectacular and practical men's mechanical wrist watch with automatic winding and a high class of water resistance. The manufacturer is positioned as a model of the upper part of the middle price category, focused on modern dynamic men who lead an active lifestyle and prefer reliable, stylish and elegant solutions. With regular wear, the automatic winding function almost completely eliminates the need to take care of the power reserve.
The Japanese rotary movement automatically maintains the required level of compression of the main spring and the watch has a stroke resource of up to 40 hours. A manual winding procedure is also provided using a crown equipped with a threaded seal. As the material of the Orient AA02002D watch case, high-quality high-strength AISI 316 stainless steel alloyed with chromium, nickel and molybdenum is used.
The same material is used to make a large-link steel bracelet with a reliable clip-on clasp equipped with an additional lock. Excellent readability of indications is provided by a contrasting arrow dial with a mechanical calendar and indication of the day of the week. To protect it, a hard mineral glass is installed, resistant to scratches. The hour markers and hands have a high-quality luminescent coating. Water resistant to WR 200m class allows you to swim, dive to a considerable depth and actively engage in water sports.

I forgot to mention the water resistance (according to the civil standard, 200 meters) - which means you can swim and dive, but without fanaticism. And one more thing - the watch did not fog up, even when quickly going outside in winter after a hot shower (I live in Omsk, Siberia)! The screw-down crown is also a good thing! There was such a model with a blue dial, but without black PVD coating. I really liked it - the watch fits on a medium wrist and looks very harmonious! Nicely heavy (mechanical)! A very bright and long-lasting phosphor is a rarity (I bought more than 80 watches from different brands)! Moreover, there is a lot of lume (in area) not only on the indices (marks), but also on all three hands, which is rare! Watching the time at night is a pleasure! They escape by 10-15 seconds per day (usual accuracy for mechanics, although there are exceptions). In addition to automatic winding, there is also manual winding, as well as a stop-second function (as in a quartz watch). PVD coating (any color) on watches and bracelets on Orient and Casio is durable (under normal use). The bracelet is cast and heavy, which means it won’t rattle too much! The phosphor simply captivated me, as I sleep with my watch on!!! The black PVD coating looks unusual. Cast bracelet! Precision - had several mechanical watches (Orient, 21 and 22 jewels) that were very accurate (seconds per second for weeks)! But again - not in every period and while wearing the watch without taking it off. What can you do, the mechanics are like that (alive). Accuracy depends on the settings on the conveyor and the wear mode. I would like the dial to be dark blue, purple, cherry (I don’t like black and white dials). Conservative regarding the Orient brand, I have remained faithful to this brand for many years, the best offer in terms of price and quality! They look very cool on the hand, I don’t regret the money spent. Quality workmanship, clarity of the smallest details. The diameter of the dial is neither small nor large, the bracelet is made of solid metal links, not bent ones. If only the weight, but it doesn’t bother me. use Orient AA02002D week |
