The A-Data SE730H is one of the most, if not the most compact external SSDs on the market. Its weight is only 33 g, with dimensions of 44x73x12 mm — this is slightly wider than a regular bank card. Thanks to the pleasant design and golden colour, it just asks to be put into the inner pocket of the purse. Although, we wouldn't mind less flashy colour options like black, grey or navy blue.

Military-grade data protection

But now it’s not enough to just be beautiful and thin. That's why the SE730H's aluminium, silicone, and rubber body boasts complete protection against water, dust, and shock. The drive complies with the IP68 standard, which means that even if it falls into sand or water, nothing threatens your data. What's more, the drive also meets the military standard MIL-STD-810G, so it can withstand drops and bumps. In fact, it's one of the few SSDs that's stylish, compact, and shockproof at the same time.

Speed up to 500MB/s

It is also equipped with a high-speed USB-C connector that provides data transfer at a speed of 500 MB / s for linear writing and linear reading. In synthetic tests, the speed is approximately the same as the passport: 432 MB / s for reading and 413 MB / s for writing. That's enough to transfer a 5GB Full HD movie in just 16 seconds, while it takes about one minute to transfer AAA games. By the way, the SSD itself is built on the basis of 3D TLC NAND memory, which provides a 25% longer service life compared to conventional TLC.
