Price. GoPro joint. Compactness of the design. Upgradeability. The tripod is quite unstable. The battery in the remote drains quickly; I bought new ones and it's the same, after a week or two, I have to buy new ones. |

Okay friends, first of all, I want to warn you that these things with a heavy phone on top as a tripod are very controversial. It's like taking a watermelon, putting it on a long stick, sticking it into the ground, and hoping that the watermelon won't fall on your head. But in laboratory conditions, it can still be used.
Secondly, if you have already decided to take selfies, then get one with a normal hinge, like the one on action cameras, that is, a fork with three walls that corresponds to a fork with two walls, and a long screw as an axis. Thanks to this, you can attach an action camera to this mount, or other non-standard solutions (look at my photo of how I have modernized my stick). Thank you, you'll tell me later when you want to put something other than a phone there.
* In my version, I can even put a flashlight and turn this selfie stick into a small floor lamp.
To give you an idea, the popular sticks from Xiaomi have a completely different hinge, while the original GoPro stick costs as much as four of these, although functionally they are the same and you only pay for the brand.
The only problem with these lower-priced sticks is the remote. Yes, it will work, the phone will take pictures when you press the remote. But you will be changing the batteries (tablets) every Sunday because they just drain to zero. It feels like these remotes are constantly connecting to Bluetooth.
