The vertical model of the AEG ABB 68211 AF built-in freezer cabinet of a well-known German manufacturer of electronics and household appliances belongs to the category of compact format devices that are close in size to conventional washing machines and dishwashers. With dimensions of 82x60x55 cm, the device has an internal storage capacity of 95 liters, providing for the long-term needs of a small family for frozen convenience foods. The high performance of the compressor allows you to freeze up to 18 kg of food per day, and the slow increase in temperature of the device de-energized for 21 hours is due to the operation of the cold accumulator that comes with the device.

External control panel

The appliance is equipped with a manual defrosting system with the Frostmatic fast freezing function, which automatically returns to standard operation after 28 hours maintaining the set food storage temperature. The electronic control panel is located on the outside at the bottom of the device, allowing full access to all settings when the door is closed. Turning on the appliance, as well as selecting the operating temperature in the freezer, are carried out using the rotary knob. The button for activating the fast freezing mode simultaneously serves to turn off the sound signals that are triggered when the door is open for a long time (more than 80 seconds) and the temperature in the freezer rises. The level of energy consumption of class A +, consuming 189 kWh / year, is not a strong point of this model.
