The model includes several specialized cycles, such as Steam Refresh and Hygiene. In the first mode, steam removes unpleasant odors and reduces creasing, and in the second, it effectively combats allergens and pathogens. The steam stage can also be added as an option to the main programs for cotton and synthetic fabrics.

Good selection of cycles + personalization

In total, the AEG LFR74164UC offers 15 programs. In addition to the already mentioned steam modes, there are cycles for washing wool (approved by Woolmark) and specialized modes for outerwear, sportswear and other fabrics. If the standard programs are not enough, users can create and save their own or download alternatives via the app (including programs for pillows, denim, cashmere, etc.).

Additional options include the Time Save quick wash mode and the Stains stain removal function, for which there is a place for a stain remover in the detergent compartment. There is also an exclusive UniversalDose tray for PODS washing capsules.

Advantages of inverter

The device is equipped with an inverter motor, which ensures reliability and durability, and also saves resources. On average, the cycle requires about 47 liters of water and 0.51 kWh of electricity, which corresponds to the reference class A (new).

The downside is the relatively large depth (66 cm) taking into account the door protrusions. However, if this is not critical, the AEG LFR74164UC is a reliable and functional model that offers excellent capacity and economy.
