The Aiko KOLIBRI safe can hardly be considered as an ultra-secure storage of firearms. It is more correct to call it a gun cabinet, which takes its toll in compact dimensions (1000x213x153 mm) and affordable cost.
modest spaciousness
The narrow form factor model is able to take on board one weapon of not very long length — due to the small size of the safe, there is only enough space inside for a gun or rifle up to 860 mm long. Part of the free space in the main compartment is “eaten up” by a non-removable shelf in the upper part, designed to store ammunition.
Tandem key locks
The cabinet is locked with two half-turn key locks, which do not have special protective properties. However, the walls of the model turned out to be not so hot either — their thickness barely exceeds 1 mm, which makes the safe similar to the locker cells installed in retail outlets. To prevent theft of the safe along with its contents (and the cabinet weighs only 6 kg), standard holes on the back wall for attaching the product to a fixed base will help.
