Big cordless sprayer for serious work

The AL-KO Solo 417 atomizer has a large tank with a volume of 18 liters and a solid battery (7.2 Ah), from which the device can work 3.7 hours without recharging (which, by the way, takes 8 hours). Non-removable battery — lead-gel type. It is easy to use, but quite heavy. Therefore, the sprayer turned out to be not easy at all. In the "dry" state, it weighs 7.6 kg (a kilogram or two more than devices of the same volume and size, equipped with lithium-ion batteries).

Advantages and disadvantages

The working pressure is not a record one (4.3 bar), but quite sufficient to form a powerful jet that hits a couple of metres. When working with plants that require careful handling, the pressure can be changed using the regulator located directly on the handle, controlling its value on the pressure gauge. The spray tube is not very long (50 cm), but the hose with a dense textile braid has a sufficient length — 1.5 m. The pump has two modes of operation (they differ in fluid supply capacity), which are switched using a toggle switch. At the bottom of the tank there is a hole for draining the remaining liquid, thanks to which you can empty the tank after work or washing without turning the machine over.

One sprayer — for every task

The AL-KO Solo 417 sprayer is designed to work in a large garden or a fairly large greenhouse. It can also be used for indoor disinfection and treatment of cowsheds or poultry farms. At a construction site, such an apparatus can be useful for applying fire protection to wooden structures. Professionals are happy to buy AL-KO sprayers because they are reliable, and they sell many useful accessories and accessories: extension hoses, telescopic rods, nozzles with different “torches”, spare seals and repair kits.
