Sometimes I use them instead of hex keys, but once I specifically needed a Torx with a hole, and it was very fortunate that this set was on hand. I needed to unscrew the brake caliper, which hadn't been serviced since I bought the bicycle (8 years ago), and obviously, everything was quite tightly set from the factory, so I had to use a pipe to unscrew the bolts. I managed to do it, but the splines got slightly damaged (visible in the photo). It doesn't affect the functionality, but for such a price, you shouldn't expect a super hard alloy. The keys themselves are not long, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage: the set is compact and takes up little space, but sometimes I wish the lever length was greater.
