After using an Android tablet, this is simply awesome. Even though it's a "budget" iPad, it is worth the money. Buying this specific model in 2019 doesn't make much sense as there's a newer version with an updated processor and features. However, even this device will last for 3-4 years, since Apple's product support is extremely long-lasting, and there is no need to frequently replace such a device. I bought the version without 3G. I didn't notice any gap between the screen and the glass, maybe if you put it next to another iPad without a gap, you might see a difference, but I find it very comfortable to use. The display itself is of very high quality, watching movies and series is a pleasure. My usage scenarios are not demanding: videos, internet surfing, and a few games. Occasionally, the tablet is used for video calls, although the front camera quality could be better. Also, something I found very useful is the built-in "Books" app, which is great for storing course materials in PDF format, and you can make various notes right in the app that are then saved in iCloud, which is super convenient. The battery lasts a very long time; if you're surfing the web and watching videos for a couple of hours a day, it can last for 4-5 days. However, if you play games, the battery starts to drain noticeably faster, and it gets slightly warm during intensive gaming sessions. ITunes crutches that personally annoy me, and the convoluted process of transferring files or videos to the tablet through multiple steps, unlike in Android. The front camera could be better. Long battery life
