Next thing that caught my attention was the metal inserts and the drip tray. They are made of very thin stainless steel. Unlike Vitek, where all these elements are made of aluminum. The quality of the body itself also raises doubts. The plastic is thin and has unpleasant burrs (marks of careless casting).
I should clarify that I bought the coffee maker on sale, and for the price I got it for, these drawbacks can basically be overlooked. But since its standard price is almost equal to the analogs, these are major downsides.
I want to mention that I liked the design of the portafilter; it has a groove for inserting the filter, but the filter itself doesn't have a protrusion for inserting into this groove. Which I find much more convenient. I don't see the point in the design where the filter is inserted strictly into the groove and then it's impossible to remove it.
I also liked the toggle switches, as I hope they will last longer than regular buttons.
Oh yes, and the main downside probably is the texture of the foam of the prepared espresso, it's coarser, and the foam settles more quickly. I don't know what it's related to. Possibly the larger hole in the filter. Although, visually, it seems very small.
Now I'm thinking if there hadn't been a queue at the post office and I had opened the box there, I would probably have refused to accept it.
