Ukrainian bicycle brand Ardis wins consumers over with its attractive pricing policy. Keeping up with the times, the company’s lineup has gained an interesting hybrid offering — the E-Man electric model, designed for riding along city streets with occasional trips onto dirt trails.
Electric drive
Ardis E-Man differs from classic bicycles by its 250 W electric motor. The motor assists with pedaling or serves as an independent driving force. In the latter mode, the bike is ready to cover distances of up to 60 km at speeds of around 30 km/h. You should not expect more, as the model’s 10 Ah battery is not unlimited.
Comfortable conditions
The hybrid bike’s wheels are fitted with 26-inch tires that absorb most types of road surfaces well. Comfortable riding is provided by a tandem of a 50 mm travel spring-elastomer front fork and seatpost suspension. In addition, the model features adjustable handlebar stem positioning, allowing the rider’s fit to be flexibly adapted to any height.
Pleasant impressions
The drivetrain in this “two-wheeled steed” offers only 7 speeds. The components are kindly supplied by the well-known bicycle company Shimano. Although the Tourney series is entry-level, as are the V-brakes, with the assistance of the electric motor the bike has enough power for any riding scenario.
