Good device.

When the total panic with the coronavirus started, I was already fully under its influence. And, as luck would have it, I had successfully broken the last mercury thermometer. I thought it was time to buy something more modern, specifically an infrared thermometer. Decided, done. It arrived in a simple cardboard box with a plastic holder inside to prevent it from hitting the walls, along with a small informative booklet. That's it. Batteries are not included.

Overall, it’s very simple: you take this gun and insert batteries into the compartment at the bottom. Load it up, and that's it. The device is ready to use; just make sure to take it off "safety."

Kidding, there is no safety. Just point the device at the forehead, with a working distance of 10-15 cm, and pull the trigger. (The thermometer's instructions are starting to scare me a bit.) That's it, the thermometer instantly reads the information, and after the sound signal, you can check the monitor, which will display the temperature for a while. After some time, it resets until the next trigger pull.

The device has three buttons: the first, with a short press, turns the backlight on/off, and with a long press, switches the measurement mode from body temperature to object temperature. The second button mutes the sound, and the third activates the log menu, where using buttons 1 and 2, you can view the latest measurements. If the temperature is too high, the screen will light up red instead of green and there will be a long sound alert, indicating something is wrong.
