Useful combination of electric oven and hob

Spending at least part of the summer out of town, in nature, is valuable in itself, and for preschool children, it's doubly valuable. That's why last year I bought a small house with a plot 30 kilometers from the city. Next to the house is a small garden and vegetable patch, and 150 meters away, there's a full-fledged large pine forest. It's a fairy-tale place, but the infrastructure is lousy. The roads are terrible, there's no gas, only what's brought in tanks. But if you're taking kids there for at least 3-4 weeks, you need to set up somehow. We found an old but still working "Kharkivanka" washing machine in the parents' garage (like if you remember what that is )))) And for the main cooking appliance, we bought an electric oven with an electric stove built into the top. Now, my wife bakes bread in the oven, and lunch is prepared on the stovetop in pots and pans.

A heavy solid contraption, weighing 17 kilograms, evokes a feeling of reliability. The volume of the oven is decent, 36 liters. Moreover, the internal volume is simply galvanized, as hoodies like Saturn like to do, but enameled. It is hygienic and the enamel is well cleaned after cooking. The total power of the oven is 1400 watts, it consists of the power of two 700-watt heating elements (upper and lower). Depending on the mode, they can be turned on separately, or they can work together and then the camera warms up instantly. An electromechanical thermostat is responsible for temperature control. A mechanical timer helps prevent charring of food. Two electric burners on top each have a kilowatt of power. This is not much, but if you use them wisely, then they are enough. Assembled neatly, the enamel is clean without defects and chips.

Kilowatt burners of the hob are poorly suited for heating large pots. It takes too long for the water to boil. But in order to fry scrambled eggs in a small frying pan in the morning, this power is more than enough.
