Unique in its kind gaming ultrabooks-transformers, equipped with external graphics cards and swivel touch screens. Despite their experimental status, they sit at the top of the ROG series hierarchy, outperforming most of their brethren and many other gaming laptops from competing brands in their capabilities. The main 13.4-inch ROG Nebula screen is based on a colorful IPS-matrix with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a minimum response time (3 ms), natural color reproduction (100% DCI P3 gamut coverage), support for HDR10 / Dolby Vision standards and built-in NVIDIA G-Sync frame synchronizer.

The display rotates 360 degrees, turning into a kind of massive tablet with the ability to control the stylus. The aluminium case weighs only 1.3 kg and is 19 mm thick. This makes it a one-of-a-kind tool that goes beyond gaming, potentially making life easier for artists, designers, VFX specialists, animators, musicians, and other workers in the so-called creative industry. The key solution for the miniaturization of the device was the ROG XG Mobile external docking station with an integrated graphics card, a cooling system based on the evaporation chamber, an integrated power supply and additional connection ports (USB, HDMI, card reader, LAN).

The video card model depends on the configuration - in the lower versions of ROG Flow X13, the GeForce RTX 4060/4070 is usually installed, in the top configurations you can find the RTX 4080 and even the RTX 4090. And all this works at full capacity, without the usual TDP limitations for laptops. The rest of the hardware is hidden inside the ROG Flow X13 itself: a Ryzen 9 processor (codename Phoenix, Zen 4 architecture), 16/32 GB LPDDR5 overclocking RAM with a maximum clock speed of 6400 MHz and an SSD drive up to 1024 GB. Other features of this series include a Full HD webcam, a Face ID face scanner, good speakers with Dolby Atmos support, fast charging, and a comfortable gaming keyboard with a solid backlight.
