After the next increase in gas prices, it became clear that the blue light should be abandoned in favor of something cheaper, but no less effective. In the area where I live, there is semi-legal mining of good anthracite, which can always be bought at a reasonable price, so gas was replaced by coal. The boiler was chosen so that the main fuel was anthracite, and the brother suggested the ATON brand. He has been using this device for four years now. Compact size. For me, this was crucial as it needed to replace the old boiler. Simple maintenance. It's convenient to load the boiler with coal. Good efficiency. I believe that around 80% efficiency when operating on coal is an excellent indicator. Long burning time (managed up to 10 hours), but only on coal. Thick five-millimeter walls of the heat exchanger made of quality boiler steel. I hope they will last a long time. Good body insulation. Affordable price. An important advantage in these difficult times. Not very effective with wood. Tried it a couple of times experimentally, and both times the load lasted only 3-4 hours. So, during a winter night, you need to add wood twice! Unlike gas units, this one needs to be regularly cleaned of soot and grime, and the cleaning process is not particularly pleasant. |
I’ve been using it for two years, I haven’t seen a worse boiler, in short, I sit near the boiler almost all the time, the firebox is very small, you practically run to it every two hours, it quickly clogs with soot, since the swirl of smoke at the outlet of the boiler is poorly thought out, and in order to select the ashes, you need open the door, it’s a common firebox together with an ash pan, somehow debility, there were several times when burning firewood fell on the floor when opened, I don’t recommend taking it, even as a gift, because everything can end in tears, or fire or eel. color is red. total misunderstanding. |
