a model with serious flaws

The flashlight is small and thin, with a telescopic handle and a swiveling head on a flexible "gooseneck." The design is really successful and looks interesting, compact, doesn't take up much space.

But the light is very modest. It runs on four LR44 batteries. Inside are three weak LEDs, the brightness is low. The light is cool, even gray, without a proper beam — more for illuminating something up close than really lighting up.

Overall, this is more of an auxiliary thing than a full-fledged flashlight. It can still be used as a tool for occasional household tasks, but it doesn't cut it for anything more serious.
Coil, telescopic handle, compact, magnets on the handle and on the flashlight itself, latch.
Weak light, LR44 batteries. Overall a good design, but weak technical part makes it a nice pen and a bad flashlight.

Like a toy, like a flashlight... well, in very specific tasks.

I picked up this flashlight out of curiosity because the design is genuinely unusual. When collapsed, it's quite small, about the size of a palm, and when you extend the telescopic handle, it reaches over half a meter in length, which is very convenient for inspecting hard-to-reach places. Plus, there's a flexible "snake" at the end, allowing you to angle the light as needed, reach behind the washing machine, into a car's engine compartment, or just illuminate spaces your hand can't reach. Magnets at the front and back are also useful; stick it to metal, and your hands are free, perfect for small tasks.

But all this brilliant idea falls short when it comes to the light. It's weak. Not "a bit lacking" weak, but truly weak. It's evident that the reason is straightforward — it runs on three LR44 button batteries. For this form factor, it's simply not enough. You can still shine under a cabinet or find a dropped nut, but as an inspection flashlight in the full sense — it falls short. Plus, if used frequently, these batteries deplete very quickly, and constantly replacing them is a dubious pleasure.

In the end, we have a cool, well-thought-out design that could really be very successful, but the technical part lets it down. If it had a proper battery or at least a few AAAs, the flashlight would be much more appealing.
Telescopic handle, flexible "head", magnets, latch, thin, metal body.
The light is weak, you can't put LR44 batteries or anything else.
