The Ballu BWH/S 80 Smart Wi-Fi storage water heater is an advanced innovative product with modern functionality that allows it to be integrated into a smart home system. The device has a flat body shape and an internal tank with a volume of 80 liters, made of stainless steel, which is protected from corrosive wear by a magnesium anode. The high quality of the internal tank, capable of withstanding 160,000 heating cycles, is confirmed by a long-term manufacturer's warranty for the storage tank — 8 years. The electric water heater, designed for vertical or horizontal mounting on the wall, is available in two colours: with a white or silver-grey body.
Internet control
The boiler belongs to the economical line of SMART Wi-Fi models, which can be remotely controlled via the Internet by purchasing an additional Wi-Fi module connected to the device using a USB port. An external Wi-Fi adapter and the Ballu Home proprietary application allow you to remotely turn on and off the device, set the temperature and heating time, and also take advantage of the 3-tariff metre by programming heating cycles at night, when electricity is much cheaper. Thanks to this, you can save up to 55% of electricity, due to which the water heater will pay off much faster.
Legionella won't survive
In addition to remote control from a smartphone, which requires an additional removable Wi-Fi module, the device can manually set the desired water heating temperature using a thermostat. The control panel has a contrasting black and white LED display for convenient control of the set modes and parameters of the water heater. The device is equipped with a powerful heating element with a two-stage power adjustment of 1.3 kW and 2.0 kW, and a full tank of water is heated to a maximum temperature of 75 °C in 3 hours. The boiler has built-in protection functions: against “dry” switching on, overheating and overpressure. The useful function of water sanitization (anti-legionella) is only available when controlled from a smartphone via an app.
