When it comes to climate technology, Ballu brand products are right there. One of the brightest representatives of the kind of electric convectors is the BEC/EVM-1500 model from the well-proven Camino Evolution series of heaters.

Simple control

The numbers in the name of the convector encoded the maximum power of the device, expressed in watts. Accordingly, the model is designed for space heating with a "square" of about 15-20 m². As usual, the operation of the heater is possible in two power modes: it either “heats” in full (1500 W) or at half strength (750 W). The choice of the required mode, as well as turning off the device, are made using a three-position button on the simplest control panel. Next to the above button is a mechanical knob for adjusting the heating temperature.

On guard of a comfortable microclimate

The issue of maintaining a comfortable microclimate in the room where the convector is installed is solved by a high-precision built-in thermostat. It allows deviation from the set temperature within ±1°C. Also, the manufacturer in every possible way praises the Double G-Force branded heater, which has an X-shape in cross section. Air passes through it without delay, as a result of which the room heats up faster and more evenly. The claimed service life of the heating element is a quarter of a century.

The model can be either mounted on a wall, for which fasteners are provided from the rear, or installed on the floor. The fulcrum in the latter case is a quartet of swivel wheels, which should be handled with care due to the use of a plastic bracket for their fastening. Among other complaints, there are negative reviews regarding the short length of the power cord and the stickers that are difficult to peel off on the front panel of the heater case. But the model looks fresh and unconventional, not only effectively heating the room of the claimed area, but also emphasizing with its presence any more or less stylish interior.
