I chose it primarily because of the minimal number of joints in its design. I’ve already driven more than 700 km with it and am satisfied so far. The suction cup has never come off the windshield. But there is one important point: it holds securely on glass or another smooth surface, whereas on a textured dashboard, I get the feeling it could come loose when shaken. The materials are quite good – sturdy plastic, reliable clamps, and no play. The only thing I can criticize is the material where the smartphone is clamped. My phone has rounded edges, so it can slide slightly from side to side inside the clamp. Perhaps this won’t be a problem at all with flatter edges. But I should note that the phone has never fallen out of the holder.
