Under the well-known Beko brand, many large household appliances are produced, including washing machines and air conditioners. Naturally, the Turkish company could not ignore kitchen appliances. However there are not so many retro-style electric ovens under the Beko brand. In fact, now only one model can be found on the market — Beko OIM 27201. At the same time, it is available in two colours: black (OIM 27201 A) and beige (OIM 27201 C)
Restrained but tasteful
The oven itself has a rather restrained design. Designers abandoned gilded elements and additional graphics. However, thanks to the controls and the massive bronze-look handle, the oven fits well into a classic kitchen. As mentioned above, the model is available in two colours. However, if the black one “fits” well with almost any technique, then the beige version of Beko OIM 27201 may not match the hobs from other manufacturers in shade.
Large oven for three dishes at once
Beko OIM 27201 is a very spacious 71 liter oven. This volume is enough to cook three dishes at once or roast a large turkey carcass.
Many modes
The oven has seven cooking modes. However, the most interesting among them is 3D cooking. This mode activates all available heating elements (top, bottom and back) as well as convection. As a result, dishes are cooked quickly and evenly from all sides. Beko OIM 27201 A also supports grill mode. Complete with the oven, users receive a wire rack and two baking sheets — regular and deep.
In general, the model looks quite successful. The main complaints relate to the complicated timer setting and the unpleasant smell that appears when you first turn it on — it disappears about an hour after turning on the oven.
