The Belkin WIB001 Wireless Charging Station features a disc-shaped cradle with minimal features and is available in classic white and black. The device has relatively small dimensions of 110x100x100 mm and a modest weight of 110 grams, for which it can be called compact. There is a noticeably simplified indicator compared to the older model, which now has only 2 states: white light on — everything is fine, orange on — everything is not good, or simply “charging error”. In the event of a malfunction or, for example, a foreign metal object, the power supply is automatically switched off.

Charges most modern devices

The charging station is compatible with all devices that support the Qi standard, and the claimed maximum output power is 10 watts. But here you need to clarify that depending on the phone, this figure will be different: For Samsung phones, the power will be 9 W, for iPhone 7.5 W and for all other brands 5 W.

Convenient to use the phone

There is one coil inside, but despite this, the phone charges perfectly in both horizontal and vertical positions, which, together with a good angle of the dish, allows you to watch videos or just use the phone while continuing to charge even in a case up to 3 mm thick. Although we have a really high-quality product, the price seems a little high, especially when you look at the micro USB charging cable, which is already obsolete, but this is more of a nitpick.
