Berga Basic-Block

Starter AKBs with balanced characteristics for use onboard European vehicles. Series models deliver the corresponding European form factor with recessed tapered terminals. The positive terminal can be on the right or left—it depends directly on the chosen battery modification and the needs of a particular car owner. Berga Basic-Block has a maintenance-free design, eliminating the need to regularly top up distilled water.

A range of AKB capacities is available to suit passenger cars, minivans, and light commercial vehicles. The batteries in the line offer high starting currents, operate reliably in freezing temperatures, and power numerous onboard systems in vehicles with an increased amount of electrical equipment. In addition, the family of AKBs features low self-discharge and quickly restores charge after deep discharges. A central gas venting system guarantees safe battery operation.
