Thermos mug for a car trip

The manufacturer of popular chef's knives, kitchen accessories and utensils, BergHOFF, did not ignore such a category of products as thermoses. The BergHOFF Orion travel mug 1100187 is reminiscent of a classic kitchen cocktail shaker with its conical shape and shiny sides. This model is positioned as thermal cookware for traveling by car. The body of the mug and the inner container are made of anti-corrosion stainless steel with 18% chromium and 10% nickel. The metal surface of the case with double walls and the bottom received decorative rubber inserts. And in order to completely eliminate slipping from the hands, on the opposite sidewalls of the case there is a dotted square relief 3x3, similar to Braille letters (a tactile font for the blind).

The inner surface of the flask, containing up to 0.5 L of liquid, is finished with a smooth, shiny layer of polypropylene. A mug with dimensions of 180x85 mm tapers towards the bottom, which makes it not very stable on a flat surface when shaking. Therefore, while the car is moving, it should be placed in a special cup holder. However, this form has its own plus: the vessel is much easier to wash and clean. The lid has no screw thread and closes with a silicone seal under applied force. Closing manually does not exclude distortions and gaps, so you should not expect complete tightness of the container and long-term preservation of temperature. The lid has a movable slider that opens a small hole through which liquid is supplied.
