1. Illumination. It really helps to see where you need to go over with the epilator and where hairs are still left. 2. Cooling glove. To be honest, I used it 1-2 times at the very beginning when I just bought it. 3. Price. I think it's average. I didn't want to buy a cheap one because I didn't want to pay more later. I always consider the price-quality ratio. I don't need a more expensive one with extra features. The main thing is the number of tweezers, which is the same for this one and the one for 1000 UAH. 4. Attachments are available. I used them in the beginning too, it's not as painful. Now the hair is much thinner and less frequent, so I don't use the cooling glove or attachments anymore. 5. Braun is not as painful as Philips. I've tried it myself. Strange, I agree. But that's my opinion. Didn't notice any drawbacks in the epilator itself. Works great. Already a year. i've been using Braun epilators for 10 years. The first one had 20 tweezers, and after 3 years, I bought a newer model, 5280, which served me for 6 years (the motor burned out). Since I was satisfied with the epilator, I got its exact counterpart from the same brand, 5580, the only difference being its new shape (or so I thought at the time). But!!! There is also a difference in construction! After 8 months, the attachment broke because hairs that got inside caused a short circuit in the mechanism (in the old epilator, nothing shorted for 6 years, and the hairs were even inside the epilator itself (it was opened in front of me), after repair, it worked for another 3 months, then the same scenario... The discussion was about the [censored] silk epil 5, but I looked at the attachments for 7, and the structure is the same... I'm currently looking into a different brand... The epilation function performed wonderfully, parts from the small attachment fit the main one... Later on. They talk about ingrown hairs. I don't have any. I use scrubs and body lotions once every three days, and everything is smooth and clean.
After a year, I shave my legs, now even my underarms (it's excruciating but the result is amazing), my belly, and sometimes the bikini line along the underwear line (I leave everything else to a waxing specialist).
