The Brother sewing machine belongs to the category of modern computerized models, but at the same time it is a fairly simple and easy-to-use device. Therefore, the manufacturer positions it as a machine for entry-level and intermediate level craftsmen. Simply put, it has a basic set of features and capabilities, but is designed to perform not too complex tasks. The machine is equipped with a 7-segment feed rail for advancing the fabric, a powerful motor that develops a speed of up to 850 stitches per minute, and a horizontal rotary hook.

Among the advantages of such a shuttle are a quiet and smooth movement of the mechanism, simple operation and easy threading of the lower thread. Brother Innov-is A16 can perform 16 sewing operations, namely 13 lines and 3 types of loops, which are formed automatically. An adjustment wheel is provided for selection, and a 2.6-inch monochrome LCD display provides information about sewing parameters and settings.

You can adjust the stitch length (up to 5 mm), stitch width (up to 7 mm) and thread tension, change the foot height for working with thin and dense fabrics, select the optimal speed mode, turn off the lower fabric feed for embroidery and free darning, set the position needles (up/down), use the reverse (reverse) and twin needle sewing functions.

In addition, the machine is equipped with an automatic needle threader, a storage compartment for accessories, a sleeve platform and work area illumination, and also allows you to sew without a foot pedal - using a conventional button on the body.
