Maybe my phone is buggy, or maybe the battery really died in a week...

I specifically bought it for the selfie stick remote so I could use it as a tripod and take photos remotely, but I encountered a problem. A rather significant one. The battery lasted exactly for one trip. I spent the day on my bicycle, took a few photos. Everything went well. The next week, I planned to continue the trip, only to find the remote was discharged. How is this possible? The remote automatically turns off when inactive, so I can't imagine how it could discharge so quickly.

I've also used similar batteries in car keys for central locking, and they performed well there. However, I would consider looking for something more reliable like Varta or Duracel, they seem more trustworthy, albeit more expensive, but as they say: the miser pays twice.
