Model overview based on user reviews
The Canyon CNS-CWC5 webcam is a solid choice for users seeking a budget-friendly option with essential features. It offers FULL HD resolution and autofocus, ensuring clear video quality. The camera is easy to attach to a monitor and remains stable during use. While it includes a backlight, its effectiveness is limited to a small radius, and the noise suppression function is not very effective. The microphone quality is decent, providing clear audio, although noise cancellation could be improved. The camera has a modest 65-degree viewing angle, which may not be ideal for professional use but is sufficient for casual video calls. Overall, the Canyon CNS-CWC5 is a reliable webcam for everyday use, offering good value for its price.
Pros
Cons
A wonderful camera! It has FULL HD, autofocus, and the sound is processed and delivered with high quality, not compressed, as can happen with other webcams. It attaches to the monitor easily, doesn't wobble or tilt. For its price – an excellent specimen! autofocus, FULL HD no |
the camera is not bad, but don’t expect a wow effect. I was uncertain about the price, and I kept leaning towards a more expensive model, but I bought this one. The camera is two megapixels with decent resolution. For me, as an average user who occasionally needs to talk via video calls, it is certainly not bad. But you can't call it professional, of course. Understandably, it’s not expensive. Don’t expect any supernatural functions from it. It focuses automatically. The viewing angle is 65 degrees. To put it mildly, it’s a modest angle. But again, for my modest needs, it’s enough, and those planning to shoot videos might want to find something more suitable. There’s a noise cancellation feature according to the manual, but in reality, like a regular camera that has noise, so does this one. Just like the cheapest camera lets through random sounds, so does this one. The microphone by itself seems to be not bad, I can be heard clearly, but the noise cancellation feature is just a name. There is a backlight, but it is so insignificant that it is almost nonexistent. The light diffuses within a radius of 10-15 cm from the camera itself. And one more small note, I don't even know if it's a downside or if it's supposed to be this way, but the camera heats up. Not much, but still, there's this aspect. In terms of image quality for the price, the microphone is decent. noise suppression function is untenable, the backlight does not reach the desired distance |
