Stepless cutting height adjustment
The Champion MM4026 non-motor garden mower is a device with a spindle cutting mechanism, which is activated while the cart is in motion. The model is equipped with a drum with 5 knives that have a good factory sharpening, but the mechanism needs preliminary adjustment before starting operation for clean mowing. The manufacturer recommends using the device for 150 hours a year, which is quite enough for mowing the lawn in the warm season in the middle zone of our climate zone. The cutting width of the grass is 40 cm, and the stepless adjustment of the cutting height in the range of 25 – 40 mm is carried out by moving the support roller.
Good unit for almost nothing
The steel deck covering the cutting mechanism protects the knives well from deformation and dulling. The device weighing 7.5 kg is easy to move and manoeuvre on 2 wheels made of durable plastic. The garden unit can be additionally equipped with a 30-liter grass collector with a rigid plastic bottom and sidewalls made of mesh material. The assembly and disassembly of the operating handle can be done without any tools thanks to the included bolts with wing nuts. The low price of a lawn mower is a weighty argument for buying this model, especially if you have never used a mechanized tool to mow the lawn. Compared to a conventional scythe, you will immediately feel the difference and comfort of work.
