How to choose a charging stationEverything you need to know about power, capacity and type of battery, as well as other criteria for choosing charging stations

Li-Ion or LiFePO4: What’s best for charging station and UPS?Understand the strengths and weaknesses of lithium batteries used in charging stations and UPS
The charging station is excellent. It maintains a stable load of 1.8 kW, provides a true sine wave, and, crucially, charges very quickly from the grid: it took me about 1 hour to charge from 4% to 85%, and another half hour to fully charge to 100%. The display is informative, showing the current load and the estimated operating time in that mode, which is very convenient for planning autonomous operation. The fans turn on only at high loads and during charging, and they are not noisy at all. A big plus: it has UPS functions and pass-through charging, and if needed, the capacity of the charging station can be increased with 1 or 2 additional expansion blocks of 1.5 kWh each. It easily powers a fridge, vacuum cleaner, and microwave, not to mention smaller appliances. Great power reserve, fast charging from the mains, the ability to charge from a solar panel, UPS function, bypass charging, LiFePo4 batteries, pure sine wave. Few USB-Type C ports, and not all fast charging protocols are supported (the super-VOOC 80W I need is missing). |
