The wired programmer from the Hungarian company Computherm is suitable for all devices with an appropriate output connection to the thermostat: gas, electric boilers, underfloor heating, and even air conditioners.
Flexibility
The most popular thermostat is used by owners of gas boilers. Depending on the air temperature outside, it allows you to reduce gas consumption by 30-40%. Of course, the final result will directly depend on the specified temperature regime for space heating. The temperature can be set from 5°C to 35°C in 0.5°C increments. Moreover, the user can fine tune the sensitivity of the programmer (0.1, 0.2 or 0.3°C). The lower the value, the more stable the temperature in the room will be and the more comfortable it will be in it. With a larger value, the boiler will turn on less often.
Temperature conditions
The device has a built-in weekly timer, and for each individual day, up to 6 programmable work cycles lasting from 10 minutes are set. For example, at night, you can set the temperature at 18°C, set the programmer to 21°C closer to waking up, lower the temperature to 16°C again when you are away from home, and give the command to warm up the apartment to the same temperature when you return home in the evening. comfortable 21°C.
Governing bodies
The thermostat housing has holes for wall mounting. On its front side there is a display, two large buttons "+" and "—", and under the folding panel below — 6 control keys. Among them there is a button for turning on the backlight, which for some reason was pushed almost into the middle of the row. Accordingly, it is not necessary to count on turning on the backlight of the screen by touch. The batteries of the device (two AA batteries) are installed inside the case, so the thermostat must be opened to replace them. Fortunately, the replacement procedure must be done about once a year.
Arsenal of features
The arsenal of the programmer's functions also includes protection of the boiler pump from "souring" in order to avoid the formation of deposits on its parts and the ability to calibrate the temperature sensor within ± 3 °C.
