Cube i7-CX RemixOS 32 GB

The device made its way to the tablet market thanks to a crowdfunding site on behalf of Jida. The tablet was created by former Google employees who equipped their brainchild with their own operating system.

Remix OS

Remix OS is built on Android 5.0 with the best of Windows 8 included in the interface. For example, the taskbar looks the same as the system from Microsoft. This adds convenience in terms of using the tablet. Unfortunately, Remix turned out to be more raw than originally intended. However, all programs available under Android will run under this shell as well.

Display

The tablet has a FullHD screen with a diagonal of 11.6". IPS-matrix reproduces colours naturally and has good viewing angles. The large display consumes a lot of energy — the tablet can not last until the end of the day with active use. Its battery has a capacity of 8400 mAh and takes a long time to charge, so you'll have to be patient.

"Iron"

In terms of “hardware”, Jida engineers did not come up with something new and installed a proven Intel Atom Z3735F processor into the tablet, which has 4 cores operating at a clock frequency of 1.33 to 1.8 GHz. The amount of pre-installed RAM is 2 GB, which is enough to perform any daily tasks. In benchmarks, the Cube i7-CX is gaining enough points to fill the niche of a solid mid-ranger (about 31000 in AnTuTu).

Transformer

In a separate line, you need to highlight the presence of a magnetic connector, to which a removable keyboard is connected. It does not come with this model, unlike its fellow Cube i7, but it can be purchased separately. In this case, the tablet turns into a kind of laptop-transformer, moreover, equipped with two cameras: rear 5 MP and front 2 MP.

Attractive option

Relatively good hardware paired with a "delicious" price tag make Cube i7-CX one of the most attractive options for home use.
